Alterations in this region have been associated with the Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome, Wilms tumor,rhabdomyosarcoma, adrenocrotical carcinoma, and lung, ovarian, and breast cancer. This gene may play a role in malignancies and disease that involve this region. |
